5 Hacks to Improving Curb Appeal to Sell Your Home

July 9, 2021 By Tami Savage

Are you thinking of selling your home and you want to get top dollar without getting stressed out from mistakes that could happen when hiring inexperienced, unqualified, or discount brokers, who, by the way, can't offer enough value, so the only way they can earn your business is by, doing what, cutting their commission.

Which means they're cutting their value and their services to you.

Well, then, this video is for you.

Here are a few hacks when selling your home to ensure you get maximum exposure and top dollar.

Hi, I'm Tami Savage with EXP Realty.

In this video, we're going to talk about the outside of your home, curb appeal.

Now I'm sure you've heard this before, but it's really important to understand.

Many times buyers won't even walk through a home that doesn't look cleaned up from the outside.

There are simple tricks that can save you money and actually maximize the return on investment at the same time.

So let's start with number one.

Adding a few flowers or plants surrounded with black bark mulch will add that pop of color and make that ugly old yard go from frumpy to fabulous.

Number two, maybe you're wondering if the outside needs a new paint job.

Have you considered just painting the door and trim?

Many times, that alone can spruce up the outer appearance and look as though the entire home has a new paint job and save you a lot of money.

Number three, right before pictures, be sure to water down the concrete or pavement, as it will enhance the photos and make the home pop even more.

Number four, also be sure to trim up the trees, landscape, and roses.

If you've got so many trees or bushes that hides the home, well, you're losing buyers.

Number five, lastly, be sure all your exterior lights are working and the home is well-lit at night.

I've got many more tricks to show you to ensure once you get a buyer to see your home, they're more likely to want to put an offer on it.

I'm Tami Savage with EXP Realty, your key to a new lifestyle.

Thanks so much for watching and make it a great day.
