It's great to know that when you've given something to Tami, it will get done – and done right – without having to worry about it. Tami's smart, capable and knows what she's doing. Always money well spent.
Being a kinesthetic learner, I already know that I can’t do video courses or read a book and *get* it. I have to learn hands on. Tami’s courses allow me to interact and learn the way I love to learn, and experience the material in a powerful and memorable way, anchoring in the concepts before I get distracted. She engages her audience and answers questions, provides great insights into how some of the skills could benefit my work, and provides everything I need to successfully master the content. You don’t have to be a hands-on learner to benefit, either, because she combines visual and audible with her interaction to really appeal to any learning style. I recommend her training to anyone who needs to polish their skills and enhance their work product.
I love Tami Savage’s classes. She’s a fabulous trainer – a technical guru who really knows what she’s talking about. As an experienced VA, I thought I knew all there was to know about a “simple” program like Word, but I was fascinated by what I didn’t know. Many of the things that I’ve been using Photoshop and Excel for can now be done in Word due to recent Word enhancements! I love the style of Tami’s classes – I like that she briefly surveys each student at the beginning of each class so that she can teach according to the level of the students in the group. She also explains things clearly and concisely without going too fast or too slow and I love that she provides recordings so that we can go back and look at the videos when we need them. If you want to take your technical learning to the next level, Tami Savage is your person!
When my computer died and I needed to replace it, Tami was an excellent resource for helping me choose just the right system for me. She listened to what I wanted in my system and then proposed the perfect fit. Then when I needed help setting up my Outlook on two different computers, Tami was patient and professional as she walked me through the process. After working with Tami, I realize I not only need a great computer tech but a fabulous IT tech. Tami fits the bill. She is now my go to gal for IT issues. Thanks Tami. You’re the best!
I like to think I am a good computer user. I am not a beginner, but I know just about enough to get myself into trouble. I also normally HATE dealing with computer people. They either talk “over my head”, or treat me like I’m clueless. (Is your computer plugged in?) I also get emotional over computer problems. Call me crazy, but when that stuff starts going wrong, it hurts inside. I want my computer to work, without issues, when I turn it on. Is that too much to ask?
Then, I spoke to Tami Savage. She listened. She paid attention to what I said and spoke to me on my level. When I had a question, she didn’t make me feel silly (even if the question was a little silly) and she gave me the confidence to move forward.
I needed to make a new computer purchase, and she talked to me about how I use machines, what I wanted to be able to do, and how I needed to be able to work. She helped me understand what I needed from the graphics and video, the memory and speed, and what I needed to do to get myself backed up so I didn’t have downtime in my business. I was able to confidently purchase my dream machine based on her help.
Recently, five months after building my dream machine, my hard drive crashed. I experienced no down-time, and after a pep-talk from Tami, I conquered the replacement and was back up and running *very* quickly after the new drive arrived. Without her help in designing my system and her technical support when things went wrong, this experience would have been catastrophic to my business rather than an experience of confidence building. I no longer worry about my work or my systems. Tami helped me get the software and hardware I needed to do what I do at the speed I am capable of doing it. She’s amazing!
Whether you are a limited user or know your way around the inside of your machine, Tami can help answer questions, find great tools and resources, and get your computer where it needs to be. And, while the situation can still be stressful and leave you ready to toss the thing out the window, she will add humor, understanding, and a little TLC to help you mentally (and emotionally) deal with it as well.
Tami Savage possesses an exceptional ability to connect with people. With a gracious and friendly demeanor, Tami manages to keep control of each class and present both simple and complex concepts to all levels of students and never hesitates to repeat a concept or present it in a different way to be sure everyone understands. Tami has excellent written and verbal skills and she is both very organized and savvy, with a wonderful sense of humor. Her joy of teaching the nuances and hints and tips of both Word and Excel is quite obvious. Knowing her personally, this level of caring and sharing is how she approaches everything she does, from IT help to teaching her classes. Anyone, even the most experienced user, will always come away with something new and generally something you can put into practice right away.
Tami teaches her software classes using common language instead of ‘geek speak’ and demonstrates her subject in an easy-to-understand way. In her Excel classes I learned several new tips for working with spreadsheets and the class was a great review for tasks in Excel I don’t often do.
I highly recommend Tami as a teacher because she’s passionate about the subject at hand and is easy to learn from.
Over the past 15 years I have worked with several web / technology experts. I must say, Tami is simply the best person I have ever worked with. She listens intently, asks lots of great questions so she can understand what I want to accomplish and then she makes it happen. There are so many things I love about working with Tami, too many to count. She is fun, extremely smart and best of all if she doesn't understand something she doesn't try and fake it. She will simply say, “I don't know” and she will find the answer. She is the BEST!!!!!!!!
